Start by opening your web browser. Clear the "Address Bar" then enter the following numbers. 192.168.1.1 Then click "Enter" on your keyboard. That will bring you to this page. For the "User Name", type "admin". For the password enter "password" Then click on "OK"





The first time you log in, the modem will ask you to enter your personal Administration name and password.
This information is for logging into your modem only, this is NOT the info for your connection to the net.





You will need to confirm you want to change.





Once you say OK you will be asked to log back in with your new user name and password.





Click on "next" when you see this screen.





When you first log in you may need to click on "New Connection". Here you need to enter the user name and password provided by your ISP. When your done click on "new".





Now you need to click on "Configuration" found at the top of this page. In the drop down menu, click on "VC Configuration"





On the first option you will see "PPPoE".
Click on edit and change it to "PPPoA"





Clicking edit brings you to this page where you can change it to PPP0A.





Click done, wait for the lights to go solid, then surf away.
